Default ADUF Detection for the Nano Clone

Well, I managed to breath signs of life into my once dead Nano Clone MP4 (from Uxcell, the Full Metal Platinum). I'm one step up as I now have the blue screen of death and Windows semi-recognizes the player. However, it does not fully recognize it as no drive pops up and I cannot locate the ADUF USB Device anywhere in explorer.

I would like for Windows XP to say 'found new hardware' so that I can run the procedure as in the dead player recovery guide, but right now there is no such luck. It did appear twice but I tried to install files before I read the guide and messed it up. Now it only says anything when I go to 'safely remove hardware' in the task tray.

Tricky things these MP3 players are (although real iPods aren't too different either, the only difference is the tech support they get to get them up and running again, believe I know this all too well). If anyone can help out with this dilemma I owe someone a pint somewhere when I'm on my travels again.

PiN

PS: If anyone is having troubles opening up their 2nd Gen Nano Clone (i.e. Full Metal Platinum or the ones sold everywhere right now) let me know, I can do a step by step guide as I've become a bit of an expert on this (although it was not done all to gracefully I must say).
