As a seller of players I am sure you have customers who may encounter problems or have questions about your products despite being sent what they have paid for so I find your comment a bit odd.

I think it's great that PushPlay Digital is prepared to go the extra mile for it's customers and our members by providing this kind of service on top of discount offers.

Thanks Timothy and welcome to MyMPxPlayers.org

I agree with Tadad.

Welcome to MyMPxPlayer.org Timothy.

Just to let others know, I have been told by PushPlay Digital that a person from PPD has been dedicated to supporting members at MyMPxPlayer with any issues. I have also been told that due to new management at one of their branches, this might have lead to these delays.

It's really good to see that PPD is going to get on top of these, now that the site also has it's CS rep from PushPlay Digital now :).

Re: PushPlay Digital Customer Service

Hi Timothy
Thanks for setting up this post - i think it needs a sticky or a place of its own to find you easier.
i have just ordered a player from your site but i have a few issues i would like to share with you and your team.
1. No order confirmation email sent
2. No PAYMENT confirmed email sent (very worrying)
3. No reply to email on product query.

these are my main probs - this player is for my 10 year old and has bought it with his birthday money on my recommendation and i am constantly being hassled as to whe it will arrive, of which i have no answer.

with regards to the player itself i need a couple of questions answering if you could:
PLAYER MODEL: DITA-221
1. what sd card type does it take
2. what chipset is it
3.what type of AVI (xVid, DIVX etc)

any help would be appreciated

MY ORDER REF: 2226 (when will this be sent??)

sorry to hassle you about this on this forum but emails seem to get lost in the ether.

i do believe you guys are a great company with some cool gadgets but a little work on customer communications would vastly improve upon a great product line
many thanks for any assistance you give

Yes good support is the backbone of this business I agree but my point is most of these people were already contacting them thru their website email with no replies. So my point is that it would of been much more easier and professional to just promptly answer all their concerns then and there when they were sent these emails instead of coming here and making a post about it. It takes the same amount of energy.

Re: PushPlay Digital Customer Service

thought i would give an update to PPD order i placed on Monday
so far i have received NO communications at all - NONE, ZILCH
it is all a little worrying as they seems to be completely uncontactable and i am more than worried as they now have my credit card details!!!
they have now taken the money (at least i think so) my bank details a transaction to '20 TWENTY ENTERTAI', the amount taken seems to fit so i am assuming this is PPD
Today i sent an email from their web site every 10 mins to try and find some form of life - no good
i found an email address on the site 'info@pushplaydigital.com' and tried to send a message only to have it bounced back by the mail as 'no such address'
so, what does this all mean, all i can think is that we have all been conned and they will be merrily spending up to the max on our cards in no time - i do not wish this to be true but what else are we to think
if anyone has actually made contact with these people could you post any genuine email/phone contact numbers please

I send e-mails to sales@pushplaydigital.com and I've gotten vague responses from there once or twice.

The phone number associated with 20 Twenty Entertainment in Maryland is listed as 410-483-1550 (Someone give them a call).

The TWO PushPlayDigital representatives here do not seem to read their PM's (mine has been in the outbox for quite sometime).

Right now, I am just very upset at the lack of communication from these folks. There is no reason in this day and age not to respond in some manner.

If they are drop-shipping, I can understand that. If they are having management problems, I can understand that. I cannot understand why a simple honest reply from them hasn't been forthcoming.

It also looks badly for this site mympxplayer.org, as they are the ones accepting advertising revenue from them.

Josh from PushPlayDigital used to post sporadically here and now has disappeared. Timothy from PushPlayDigital posts one message saying for us to PM him, and he hasn't resurfaced yet.

Tried calling just for fun and got an operator saying that the number 'has been temporarily disconnected.' Hmmm... something weird is going on

I am still going to wait a "little" bit. I still want the players I ordered. But, it looks dimmer and dimmer as each day passes without a response.

well done for actually getting your order, when was this and did they contact you throughout the process.
The main worry we have is that we have given card details etc and no one appers to be getting anything back.
i have now cancelled the card i used with ppd as a precaution and i do advise others to do the same for now until we get something from ppd to ally i fears.

is this the normal way ppd do business??, could you give a run down of your experiences with ppd so we may know hat to look out for and get a better idea of how they work.
but look at the evidence, email returned undelivered, no response anymore on this site, phone numbers suspended etc etc - it does not look good

To be honest, my experience with PPD wasn't bad at all. The first order (on March 19) took a little over 2 weeks with relatively good communication. Any enquiries were answered within 24 hours.
My second purchase (on April 2) took around 3 and a half weeks and I sent 1 email during that time to ask a question about a possible delay. It was also answered within 24 hours followed a few days later by a confirmation email saying the unit had been shipped. The only real problem I had with my second order was its memory capacity. I ordered a 1GB Big Boy and i got a 512mb. I sent them an email about it they got back to me in a couple of hours to apologise and offer a credit of the difference which i'm ok with. I will add that forum member PUSHPLAY_DIGITAL was also very helpful in answering any questions i had.

I don't understand whats going on...

My order was 4/8

Hi guys,

I've sent a message and email to both members from PushPlay Digital that are registered on this site. I also sent them a "contact us" email from their website too. Hopefully we will hear from you soon.

Just another question, has anyone tried contacting the number displayed on their website: 1-888-383-4141?

If so, what was the result?

iac6969 7th May 2007 1:14 pm

goes right to voice mail

Goes to voice mail immediately. Left a few messages and contact info for myself and no one ever called back.

Yes. I got a reply this afternoon saying it would be shipped.

_Odyssey 8th May 2007 10:43 pm

Guys,

If i recall correctly, on some items it states that there is a 3 week waiting period. This i'd say is due to them having to be shipped from the factory to PPD and then shipped again to your address. If you take into account a 3 week wait from the dates ordered, a delay for easter... so many days for what they need to do to send it off to you... delays are inevitable. Still communication should be better. I've sent a general enquiry about an items availability 4 days ago and still haven't got a reply. Busy? Staff taking holidays? Who knows.

admin 9th May 2007 12:07 am

I've done the same. I've sent PM's, emails and an enquiry on their website a few days ago but still no reply.

Due to this, I have taken their advertising banners off this site for the time being until they have this issue sorted.

Nothing shipped as promised. My patience has run out, and it's troubling times when that happens.

*sigh*

makd511 9th May 2007 10:39 pm

hi all
PPD seem to have disappeared without a trace - i have lost count now of how many emails i have sent and it seems likely that all hope is now lost re getting out goods.
i am lodging a complaint with the IC3 web site
http://www.ic3.gov/ - i love internet shopping and always love a bargin and stuff like this and fake memory MP4 from ebay etc just really hack me off!!!
Any how i am sending in the complaint for what it is worth but i will send the message to PPD first to give then 1 more chance to respond, i am not sure it will do any good but it makes me feel better, maybe if we all lodged complaints something may get done?
Thanks for all the effort on this topic from all involved and admin do not worry, they looked good as a sponsor so no one blames you for putting them on the site. BTW may loss with them is 80 USD maybe we need to get definitive list of outstanding orders and totals
cheers all - makd511

I wanted to order a MP4 from PPD, thank God that I didn't ^^

makd511 11th May 2007 4:42 pm

just been on PPD site and they are definitely alive as they have been updating and adding stocks/items to the site!!! --i can not believe this, what the hell are they playing at

hhh666 11th May 2007 8:17 pm

This is just so strange.

For anyone who wants a working phone number to PushPlayDigital, here it is:

(443) 824-5476

I have thought about not posting it, but I've left messages since Thursday with no return call and maybe querys from other people charged and waiting of their stuff might help to get them to respond.

I wanted to order a player from them too, but had email them couple questions about the specs on some models. Well you guess it, still no reply. Kind of reminds a youtube video i saw.

Wish hhh666 and others waiting good luck. According to federal regulations, you guys have 60 days from the initial purchase to file the dispute with your credit card in writing.

admin 12th May 2007 3:10 am

Hi all,

I send my deepest apologies for all this hassel you have been having with PushPlay Digital.

As you probably have noticed, we have only taken them up as a sponsor about a month ago. Things turned out very well at the beginning. They offered this site a discount for members on their purchase and have even mentioned about donating two players for the site as a give-a-away.

The communication I have been having with Josh at PPD through this site has been good and I get replies in a day or two.

Then SUDDENLY, this happens. Members are complaining they are not getting their order and once I question them about it, I too don't get any replies.

I have sent them Josh and Tim (both registered members on this site) private mesasges and emails but none have replied. I have also sent a [Contact Us] enquiry from their website (twice) but still no reply either.

I have given them two days to reply and if no answer, I would strongly recommend that you contact you bank and get a chargeback on your credit card payment to PPD for your purchase - for those who haven't received their players yet.

Also, the commission that this site earned (5% of the sale), I am not sure if that is going to be paid to us now. The commission was going to be used towards the hosting fund. It wasn't much but that all helps considering this site is self funded by myself. :(

Oh well, let's see how it goes.......
