Screen too small with AMV
 

Having reformatted my hacked player to read a true 2Gb memory. I was wondering if there is any way I can make use of the whole of the screen, rather than the tiny image it now displays, after useing the AMV converter tool.

I'm no whizz kid at all of this, so some detailed explanation would be very helpful to me if anyone knows how to go about it, without me killing off my China clone ipod.

My present firmware is LG MP3 Player-SCC91-002-CM60022-2007/01/12-ACT_V9.0.50

mekako, What size screen does your player have?

Ah you got me there, I think it is 1.5 cm or just over one inch and one 8th.

Do you still have the sample AMV file that came with your player? That will tell you the size you need to convert your AMV files to.

Also, when you viewed the AMV file (before the format), was it in full screen, or did it have the horizontal bars at the top and bottom?

The sample movie that was on the player used the whole of the screen with no dark parts, however I deleted them as they were just small chinese movies of no interest to me.

mekako, I your player is 1.5 inch then you need to convert your video at 128x128 for full screen. Mp3 Player utilities 3.68 is best for that.

Done that and it does appear to be a bit better :P all this computa stuff really does my head in :roll:
