mp3 and video only plays for few seconds

Hi

I have a 1.8" 4gb player 2nd generation.
If i load videos or mp3 it only plays a piece of it.
I have other players as well took one of the videos from my 1.5" (i love sky) and it plays it completely but not the other one (so yesterday) and the one movie i have converted my self only plays few seconds even the mp3,s that i load plays like that and the repeat is on normal

i have done the memory hack remove procedure and it showed 4 gb but could not get it to show 0% showed 1% first time showed 52%

For a 1.8 LCD you need to be using MP3 Player Utilities 4.0 or 3.57, if you are using anything above 4.0 for your video the reason it is not playing is because although they have a setting for 160x120 it will actually encode to 176x128 which is to large for your player to handle.
I use 3.57 but you need to edit the TransformSetup.ini as posted here:

Thank you for the reply.I will try what you have said below and report back.

Do you think it could still be a hacked player because it displays 1% and not %

And what about the mp3 why do they only play a short 22 sec and not the hole song?

Punisher , it doesn't really matter if it is at 1% or 0%. Another alternative to reset it would be to Right click on My Computer, and select Manage. Go to Disk Management, select the player's drive, Right click and select Format.

For the playback problem, try set the Repeat mode to Normal.
