Can we can now modify 9.0.50 ?!

Well i was looking through the download>theme>9.0.xx section and i REALIZED that some people are able to extract there 9.0.48 and 9.0.50 fw??

HOW ON EARTH DID THEY DO IT?!?!?!

I found one 9.0.48 fw file that has exactly the same theme as my current mpx player, but MY mpx player is 9.0.50... can i still upload it ? (upload 9.0.48 to a current 9.0.50)??

Bugga!! i got all excited then.

Ok, those firmware files haven't been extracted from players. They're from the manufacturers. People have just uploaded them to the site. I still wouldn't use them to theme or update a player though. So sadly, it still can't be done yet. And better leave your player the way it is, because if you replace 9.0.48 with 9.0.50 or vice versa.. even if it looks the same, you'll most likely kill your player

It is still not possible to extract a working firmware from any versions above 9.0.43.
The 9.0.XX series firmware that have been uploaded are full version firmware not dumps, usually sourced from manufacturers or suppliers and various brand name web sites.

Even if the firmware images are the same the hardware components are most likely very different.

i wanted to then modify that theme that i downloaded...

WHEN WILL THE EXTRACTOR COME OUT?????????

Arghhhh... i kno that its is a free extractor, and the developers need donations, but coomeeee onnn....

I'VED DID ITTTT!!! I haved extracted the firmware but it shows an error,but i'ved remember that they'ved gave me a cd with 9.0.50 firmware ,i'ved modified the firmware and i'ved upgraded my firmware with the one modified.and it works,i can make some screenshots with my phone.
