I extracted my FW but can't modify

hey ppl , i just extracted my FW using THIS

now i can't modify it , its says ERROR not correct or something :roll: please help waht should i do?

It is likely that the firmware version in your player is incompatible with s1fwx. Versions 9.0.48 and higher cannot be extracted correctly. Also if your player is a Rockchip type it also cannot be extracted this way.

well , thanx for your reply , my firmware is 9.0.50 so i cant modify it? also i cant extract it and get the dump file but when i try to repair it , it says
Error : unknown firmware file , file repairing faled...

but i DO get a dump.bi$ file

Yes... you DO get a dump.bi$. However it will be incomplete as there are areas of the firmware 'chip' that cannot be read by the current version of s1fwx so your dump doesn't contain all the files needed to repair it to a fully working firmware file.

So no, it can't be modified. It also couldn't be flashed back to your player. If you did it would most certainly disable it with little chance of recovery
