How to upgrade my firmware?

:arrow: I tried to improve my MP4 but I can extract the firmware from the player.

:roll: I tried all the programs.

:shock: The firmware is :

Productor:Wilson Co. Ltd.

Device name: S1 Mp3 Player

Fw: B10K1_V2.0

Core: 9.0.48

:shock: I see that in the menu I have the Radio function but I can access it.

It is possible to be disabled from the firmware? or my MP4 don't hawe all the electronic components installed? :?:

How can I install this game Pac-Man_(Tengen)___(U).nes?

If you know how I can resolve my problem please tell me!

gigicablu , it is not advisable to upgrade firmwares as you will Not gain any additional features and you are more likely to brick your player instead.

The current S1fwx software only supports upto v9.0.43, so you are unable to extract your v9.0.48 firmware.

Most likely your player does not have the FM chip installed, or it is damaged. What error message does your player show when you select FM function?

It is not possible to install any games to the player as the games are all coded directly into the firmware instead.

If your player is working fine at the moment, just leave it as it is, and don't do anything to the firmware.

Regarding to the the radio in the main menu I can see the the radio but when I try to select this function the cursor just step ower it.

Please also tell me if is possible to modify the start up and shot down image?

No. It still isn't possible to modify your startup and shutdown sequences as lattesurf stated.

The only way you can is to have an exact copy of your firmware, this can only be obtained from the manufacturer of your player and as s1fwx cannot extract an exact copy of your firmware... it just isn't possible.
