Most of these players only support 99 songs per folder. So delete the 100th song then create another folder for anything over 99 songs. Just right click your mouse and choose create new folder and name it MUSIC2 or anything you like and drop your other songs into that folder.

heartlessarchangel, Is your player being detected as an unknown device? Can you access the player through Explorer?

If you have been ripped off with a hacked player by a seller submit a report to www.ic3.gov

heartlessarchangel,

If it hangs, then it tells me that there might be a problem with the memory or the memory has been 'hacked' to show more memory than it physically has.

Try formatting your player that's for sure. Should help with this problem. Let us know of the outcome.

Thanks! I was loading songs the other day and it kept saying file could not be created. Thought it was a problem with the song and gave up to try later. Just added another folder and it's ready to go! 8)

heartlessarchangel,

What you've described sounds like a player that has a MEMORY HACK done to it. It's a classic example of a hacked player when it goes crazy after a certain point within the player's memory (the hacked area).

Go through the instructions described here: How To: Removing Memory Hack. It should fix the problem for you.
