you can easily make this ok
first download s1res editing software then download all the firmwares available with this no 3.5.37also 3.5.35 and all close by no.
now open these firmwares with the editing software and check the images.
now the firmware which has similar images as your player had when working flash it with your player.
99% it will work if dosent then loacate another firmwase with similar images.
your firmware no is very common and surely there will be one uploaded.

if it is not in recovery mode then u will have to shot
the memory pins ar told in the dead recovery guide.

Re: How to backup

Bro,
U have uploaded the same file which I've downloaded from a website as stated above. It is 3.5.35, I need 3.5.37. 3.5.35 is not working. It says, invalid upgrade firmware file. Plz find 3.5.37 for me. Thanx again for showing interest & helping me out.

harshit 22nd May 2007 10:54 pm

the firmwae i uploded is the exact firmware u had.
the firmware might be corupt but if u look into the site u will find it.i could have done it for u but i am over my download limit so will have to wait till next month or if i go to my university i will do it on wifi this firmware u require is very common i also had a player with this firmware and 15 days back i formatted my computer else i had its original firmware .

dbaba, There are 3 pages of 3.5.37 firmware in the download section so you have a good chance of finding compatible version.

What state is your player in at the moment? Is it in recovery mode as an ADFU Device or does it show in Windows Explorer when you connect it?

If it is in ADFU mode you need to load full version firmware first otherwise you will get the invalid firmware message. Once you have loaded the full version firmware you can try some of the backup dumps.

Some of the backup dumps that have been uploaded to site have not been repaired after extraction so if you get an invalid firmware message try putting the dump.bin into the s1fwx folder and execute the repair.bat. The firmware must be named dump.bin for the repair batchfile to work.

If you have no luck with the 3.5.37 then try the 3.5.35 versions as you could also find compatible firmware there as well.
