MP4 Player won't turn on!!!!
 

my friend dropped my player and now it won't turn on. i have tried charging it and re formating it. still nothing. can you help me?

sliddthekidd, You may need to open the player and check if any of the wiring has come adrift. Does it work when it is usb connected?

no. even with the usb connected, it is still a illuminated black screen. my step dad opened it and looked at it. he said there is nothing disconnected. is it possible that the fall made it clear it's firmware or something vital for it to work?

no , the fall wouldnt clear the firmware , I suspect its somthign disconnected that you missed

A very good chance your lcd or lcd backlight died. If you look really really closely, you should be able to see a faint image on the screen if your backlight is gone. If it is, post pics of the internal and I'll see if we can rig up a new backlight.
