help mp4 drive wont show up in my computer drive list

i plug my mp4 and it shows in device manager as USB mass storage device but when i go to my computer there no 'Removable Disk' listed' but when i insert my flash disk ,it is detected fine. is there something wrong with my pc or mp4 player?

Have you tried different usb ports? These things seem very picky about what port they're plugged in to. If you're using the front side ports or a hub, try the rear ports which seem to have better luck connecting.
