Can't connect to player

Bought the an MP4 player from eBay and I'm having lots of problems. It's got 512Mb on board memory and SD card socket, but I can't connect to it via USB and the FM radio option doesn't appear on the menu. image is at

Imageshack.us, or imagefly.info, or photobucket.com...thel ist goes on and on (first one is the easiest)
