Please help this newbie, young grandma helping my grandson's with this new toy I bought for his birthday :cry: all I got with my MP3 Player was a little white sheet "Quick Start Guide" It says you will need to use the AMV Convert Tool to convert the video and photo files to AMV Format before being played in the player. you can download the AMW convert tool, PDF version of the user's manual and get further online tech support from: mympxplayer.org. also stated " the CD is not included because its software is outdated already, thanks for understanding." so here I am still on Mympxplayer getting more confused as the minutes tick away :cry:
I have been searching here for over 2 hrs and I am not sure which to download, as there is so many different programs to download and I want to make sure I am downloading the correct one, could some one please suggest which to download :?: :?:

Photo files can just be dragged onto or copied to the player. It should be able to view .jpg, .gif and .bmp formats without any conversion.

For videos on a player with a 1.8" screen, i'd recommend AMV Converter 4.0 here > http://www.mympxplayer.org/amv-conve...mod-df541.html

However, before you start copying files i advise you perform the 'Removing Memory Hack' process here > http://www.mympxplayer.org/viewtopic.php?t=2400 as 8GB AMV/MP3 players are very rare. Most if not all 8GB player purchased from Ebay are hacked to show more memory than they truly have. If you have one of these hacked players from Ebay contact the seller and demand, at least, a partial refund.

I re formated the player as this little white sheet said to do, which took the only pic and video off the player now,
I did look at the properties and it said File System Fat32 and Free space 7.98GB, after I had reformated, however I will run off to perform the 'removing memory Hack first!! thanks so much !!!
