[solved] doesn't play any music or video beyond 10 sec
 

Hi Geeks

I recently got a Digitalline MP3 multimedia player. Memory capacity 2 GB

Firmware ver

2006/01/19
9.1.51
2007/01/12
B0_8GBM18007

The player is black color with options for music,movie,record,voice,FM Radio,Photo, Ebook,Game and Setup

The player claims to play MP3/MP4 though i have my own doubt

The really problem : The player doesn't play any music or video beyond 10 sec exactly and goes into sleep mode.

I tried various settings like off mode, sleep mode but still the same problem

Anybody can guide me or suggest the company web portal for assistance.

It seems you have "Intro" play enabled.

To fix this, just play a song. During playback, press the [M] or [Menu] button. When the menu comes up, select "Repeat" option (I think from memory) and there should be an option which saids "Intro", change that to "Normal" instead and it should play the songs normally.

Thank you very much. I was breaking my head (but cudn't find the option myself.

After following your suggestions, its working perfectly normal.

Now the second question is :

Since i have formated my player and all folders were wiped out, what are the names of folders should i manually create to dump contents in

1) Music
2) Voice
3) Video
4) Record
5) Ebook
6) & photo

Your suggestions are appreciated

Good to hear it's working for you now.

It seems you have an ACTIONS chipset player, so you shouldn't need any particular folders to put files into. It should play them straight in the root of the player.

i have the same pblurp device, put it dos not play any vedio files i dont know with type of files it plays, i've tried farious types put it played nothing what is the problem, and it playes tall sound files from many types, what the problem, thanks

Hi! I have an unidentified clone mp3 mp4 player that is having the same 10 second problem but I can't find an "intro" setting. If someone could help me out it would be great. There is no brand name on this thing but this is the firmware:

Ok, got it! I found the intro setting and changed it to normal and now no problems. The control buttons on this player are kinda funky so that was the problem. I had to press the center button at the same time as the menu button to get the right menu. Thanks!

jamalkhalid , do you still have the sample video that came with the player? What video format is it in?
