Formatted 8GB player but only let me load 19 songs

Hi I bought one of these 8GB* 1.8” TFT MP3/MP4 PLAYER off of ebay. I have formatted my player and it says that I have 7.99Gb. I do have music downloaded but it will only let me download 19 songs. Shouldn't this let me download a lot more than that. Also the record and voice is there any way to get rid of that off the player so I can have more room for music. Any help would be appreciated.

It seems you have a hacked player.
The player has been hacked to show more memory than it physically has, so what happens it you get errors while using it or uploading photos to it.

Go through the instructions here and see if that fixes your problem.

Record and Voice are functions within the player and can't be removed. However they don't use any storage space on your player unless they are actually 'used'. Basically if you don't use those functions they won't use any memory. The folders they create on the drive also don't use any memory, they can be left as is or removed. It doesn't really make any difference
