My Glacier clone has no games :(
 

Just got a Nexus Nomad from the internet, without knowing that it was actually a glacier model. Well all went good with it until i found out that it doesn't have a mini-sd card slot as advertised, and no games!! Is there a way to get this baby work at it's full max? I mean can i ever get games to it?

Just to let you know, when i scroll in the menu to the right bottom, where the games icon should be, it skips 1 position further, and the icon doesn't look like that dices that glaciers have, it looks like 2 green arrows... Please help!

alex2pb , what firmware version is your player currently using?

If it is above v9.0.43, i'll suggest not doing anything to it as you would not be able to extract a working firmware from it.

Besides, the games are not interesting at all, and you are better off listening to music or watching videos than playing the games.

yeah figure out the format because that isnt a glacier clone but i may be running a similar firmware.

There are a lot of players using different firmware and chipets but having the same outside casing. So unfortunately it's hard to say that your player will have the same features as a Glacier because it's outter casing looks the same.

Also be warned about flashing your player with another player's firmware as due to it's variations, there is a high chance of you having a dead player as a result.

I really like it and i don't want to break it for now so i'll just wait :).

This is my firmware version:
I am not desperate for the missing features, so I can wait as long as it takes for f/w software, but I was angry they sold it not quite cheap and it doesn't have even 50% of the advertised features.
