Yikes!
Hadn't thought it through that way. Ouch.

True... however, if you think about it.. those 2, 4 and 8GB players would most likely be hacked from 1GB as well. Another member of this forum bought a 8GB player from them only to find it was a hacked 1GB. Just avoid them or report them. If they get enough bad reports and hassle they might eventually go away and stop ripping people off... if we're lucky.

I was the one that ordered the 8GB that turned out to be only 1GB. I was able to contact them through the online help and support live chat on their website. The only thing is that it is hard to catch them online. I think they are only there for maybe 1/2 hour a day or maybe even less. I was able to get them to tell me to ship it back and they would send me a refund minus a restocking fee of 15% -ouch! I had ordered 2 of them and I sent them back via UPS to the address in NC that was on the original shipping label. The delivery was signed for yesterday at 12:32pm, and I am still waiting for any kind of contact from the company. I would avoid purchasing anything from them at all and I'm pretty sure that I am now out the players as well as the money. That at least could give me some legal action against them through the local police dept in NC (my Dad just happens to work in the same city as that address) I'll keep updating the progress I make with them and hopefully we can both get our money back
