Default Install a Portable OS on a MP4 Player

Hi. It has been a lot of time since my last visit (and always asking help ops: , but I will try to help too  ).

I downloaded Linux Slax and it can be installed to a USB Flash Drive. The CD cames with a BAT and a SH to copy all CD's file to the USB. Then it writes the MBR (Master Boot Record) so it can be booted from the BIOS.

The problem is that the BAT can't write the MBR  ... Don't know why. I tried to execute the file from the local hard drive, the Player and from the CD... Nothing worked. ¿What else to try?

Thanks for reading and your possible answers
