Re: Cannot Recognised by PC

Hi,
I have the same problem with my player. Unfortunately, I think that the reason why you have this problem is because your player does not have a 4GB memory, but a smaller that has been hacked to show up as 4GB. I know this is the case with my player. Somehow, a hacked memory results, after a while, in corrupted firmware, and the glorious days of a well functioning chipod are over.

The remedy for this problem appears to be to find the right firmware, and reinstall it (see the dead player recovery guide).

Good luck,
kallek
