Default Can't hear next track

On my MP3 player, after a song plays and it goes to the next track, the next track plays, but I cannot hear anything. I see the counter going up, but I can't hear the song. As soon as I adjust the volume, the music comes through the headphones, and the song can be heard. What could be the problem?

Avinash4 , does it always happen with every song? Or does it only happen sometimes?

What firmware version is your player currently using?

It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.

Avinash4,

Has this only just happened or has it been happening since day one when you first got your player?

Thanks for the responses. The problem only happens with some tracks, not all. Also, it happened from the first day I got my player (two days ago).

Avinash4 , have you tried formatting your player yet? Guide here http://www.mympxplayer.org/how-to-re...ck-vt2400.html

Also, with those tracks that gives the problem, what format are they in? Are they in .mp3 format? And what bitrate are they encoded? Ensure they are not VBR encoded.

Ah, they are VBR encoded. I guess VBR mp3s don't work on these HK mp3/4 players, or is there a workaround that's easier than re-encoding most of my songs?

Avinash4 , some players have problems decoding VBR encoded files. i'll suggest that for those files that give the restart problem, re-encode them to a fixed bitrate like 128 or 192kbps and see if still restart the player when played.
