myvic,

Some questions for you:

1. Has this always been a problem or only just started?

2. How long have you had your player for now?

3. Is it still under warranty from the seller?

4. When connected to your computer using the USB cable, can you transfer files to your player?

5. Have you tried using another USB cable and another computer to charge your player? Is it still doing the same thing after you've tried that?

If you can transfer files to it through the USB cable, then that tells me the connection from your computer to your player is fine so it seems to be more a problem with the battery or the connection to the player from your player's board. However, if you can't transfer files to it, then it's probably a problem with the USB port connection on your player.

If it's still under warranty from the seller, I would suggest calling the seller and telling them about it and get a replacement.

i have the player almost 7month and the warranty already expired.... when i connected to computer, the player show charged and i still can transfer or play the music..... the same when i connected the player with the adapter to powersocket i still can play the music.....
the problem start when i disconnect the outside power supply, it say LowPower and then shutdown.... i try to turn it on but only see hourglass and then blank....

already change with new battery (Nokia Bl-5b) and still have the same problem...

u can check with instrument if and how high voltage is on battery when you charge battery..
if u have 4V (your battery is 3,7V/760mAh) on battery then that "new" battery is also bad... change it..
if u haven't voltage on battery- then you have problem :-) - then you need repair board.. ¤

Yes, you should have around 4.5v on a fully charged battery.

I suspect the internal wiring though, as it's very unlikely for a new Nokia battery to be faulty. Pop it open and see if there are any loose wires.

hi..... thank for the answer... i really appreciate it...

yesterday i borrow my friend desktop charger for nokia bl-5b and charged the battery until full, and then i place it in my mp4 player and turn it on... but it always say LowPower....

really confused here.....

the problem is when i used the power from battery it always say lowpower but if i used power from usb or adaptor it seem fine and i have no problem to transfer file from my computer.....

there is friend that say that maybe the problem is at switching diode.... but i don't know where this diode located and what i must to do with it....

really confused here......
