8gb Mp4 not working propley
Hi just got this MP4 player but the sound is not working right
Could i fix it by getting a new firmware to put on Ebay 8gb mp4 mp3/mp4 player tjd_1301_02 2007-01-01 9.1.50 if you could help that would be mint THX :? |
crazybaz, The problem you have is not likely caused by the firmware, rather by the fact that it's an 8GB player. If you flash another firmware file to it it will probably not work at all. Most of the 8GB players on ebay are hacked up from 1 or 2GB to look like they hold 8GB. This can cause a multitude of problems
Go here > http://www.mympxplayer.org/how-to-re...ck-vt2400.html and try the 'Removing Memory Hack' procedure first. Let us know how it goes |
crazybaz - There are three different things that could be wrong with your player:
1. Your headphones are faulty. 2. Your mp3 files are corrupt on the player 3. Your headphone socket itself is improperly soldered. First try using different headphones if possible. It looks like you bought one of the older models that have a 2.5mm headphone jack, so try hunting around your local hardware store or online for a 2.5 to 2.5mm adapter. If, with different headphones, the sound still doesn't work properly, you might want to check out the jack itself. It might not be soldered properly and thus you'd have to take it up with the seller. Also, sorry to break it to you, but I recall the seller you bought the player from being complained about. Use mp3 player utilities to find the exact capacity, because chances are you player is hacked. |
