my 8GB mp4 is only 1MB :-(

I just got my brand new mp4 player i took alot of time trying to find some one who was selling mp4 players with good feed back to get a 8GB off of but i found 1 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=120143521671
I just got it today and when i plugged it in to my computer it only came up as 1mb so then i tried formatting it and it could only format to 1mb i tired to format it through dos to and it only came out to 1mb i mean i heard of hacked 8gb players only being 2gb but just 1mb ahh this is crazy i cant even put on song on it and when i try to access the memory on the system menu on the mp4 player it just freezes can any one help me?

i just restarted my computer and it worked so weird idk the problem was beyond me thanks for the help though all 8 GB are accounted for

man88e , i'll suggest that you do format using the guide given above. As currently there are no evidence of legit 8GB players. Your player most likely would be hacked.

aw now its only 1GB what happen could it of held the 8GB if i didnt do this? how can i get it back to 7.95GB? lol

You can't. The 8gb was never truly there to begin with. The memory was hacked so your computer read it at 8gb. Memory hacks are designed to fool your computer. They also appear to hold the 8gbs worth of data. In reality, it is only transferring part of the data or writing ghost files. Then when you try to play it, you get file format errors and player can crash.

Contact your seller immediately and if you bought it off of eBay file a dispute through Paypal. You should also sign the Petition against scammers and eBay on the main page.

What this action was is a scam and I am saying i will let ebay know what your doing and give you bad feedback so others will know you are scamming unless you give me a refund of $20 of my money that i spent on this item that was falsely advertised to me. the 8* doesn't mean anything it you didn't state that selling the item and you also didn't state it was only 1GB anywhere please heed this warming i will give you 24 hours reply if i do tell ebay what you doing your account will get shut down
