Vertical lines on my screen

hi,

i just received my first mpx player - the sumvision sempra pro mp4 player and the screen looks crap. there are all these vertical lines throught the screen. i've included a photo.

is this normal or is this broke?

No, it shouldn't look like that at all.
If you received it in that condition then you should return it to wherever you
got the player from.
Don't try to flash the firmware or anything, just send or take it back, you have a faulty player.
