Don't use s1clone!!!
As you know, my Nano clone's radio now displays "Hard Error" all of a sudden, so i wanted to reflash the firmware and see if it helps.
For some reason, s1clone didn't want to format my player ("format" option checked resulted in an error), so it dumped my whole 1GB chip. It worked fine on another computer but whatever. So i try to reflash the dump to my player. Look what i got... http://img441.imageshack.us/img441/8090/warningtn1.png So i immediately clicked the "No, i don't want to brick my player" button and looked at the details. http://img441.imageshack.us/img441/7726/detailsql9.png Just out of curiosity, i opened the file in UltraEdit and look what's inside... http://img248.imageshack.us/img248/9...gnaturekp0.png Explain that, wiRe. |
You're right. I had this problem too, that's why I fucked up my player first time. I made a clone with this dumb program and when I tried to restore it, it bricked the player.

Well, i've fixed my radio now, and it actually was a hardware issue. More info about it here: http://www.mympxplayer.org/viewtopic...033131c0#34820 ;)
