i also hav a MINMI mp4 player like paulovgha (iPod figure) but dont have firmware with working camera..

Thanks sak_cheegii the firmware looks good.
The only problem I´m having is that I can´t play the music files when I am in the Explorer, I have to go to the music list search for the specific song there and play it.
Is that the only way to play the songs? I get bored looking for the songs in the list and they aren´t even in order!!! :(

Hello,

I've exactly that MP4 Player from the 1st post and I've followed all the steps that sableroku described. The problem is that my WindowsXP does NOT recognize the USB device and now I'm stuck at that "usb disk" screen!!! I've already done the procedure available at DEAD PLAYER RECOVERY GUIDE but WindowsXP keep saying that the AdufUpdate.inf does not contain the information needed to my device. I don't know what to do in order to get the Player to work! I've tried to insert a paper clip at the reset button but nothing happens!!! How do I quit that "usb disk" screen? Now, everytime I plug the USB cable I get that Press Menu key to format screen... how do I avoid that? How can I get XP to recognize the USB disk?
Well, I hope someone can help me here...

I brought my player back from the dead 3/4 load problem!!
 

I had the same problem after updating.. Loads to 3/4 and then NOTHING!

I did this:

Hold the menu button down, and then press reset while holding it. Then plug in USB and proceed with the rest of the instructions. Worked for Me!!
