hello friends i have this mp4 player 1 GB .

this firmware its ok but i conect the pc open player disk memory use 254MB but no file i try to format but error windows unable to format disk
i am using mp3 disk tool 4.10 try format quike format ok but player disk same condition same mamory used i try low option farmating but same problam i try to downloading add folder and song its ok added but after power on check the player no file i am connect again the pc but added files finish and same memory 254 MB
plzzzz help this problam urgently :cry:

admins hello there.

i've bought an mp4 player and uses it already.

last night i was so mad because a virus ruined my disk.

its:

- 1gb (with expandable card upto 4gb -tf card/microSD)
- 2 megapixel camera (can use for pc..)
- explorer (i can view my files)
- 320*240 resolution
- and a nice simple interface.. i can make my background for menu as
a customized pics of mine..
- opening and closing images can be change.

it is the bios..

i hope there is one who could give me the firmware and teach me how to install it.

okay i did the menu and tried to format it...but when i turn it on....it says 1 clear to format , 2 down to command, 3 other to usb disk....and i have no numbers on my mp3 player....so...what to press...i did do the >> and << thing and all iget is usbdisk(mcl) but my windows wont detect it...any ideas why?

okay i did the formating and all that but now it turns on (yeiiiii) but all i get is a blank screen....sooo....are there any other anyka firmwares out there.....sheesh...

Windows is not recognize the device. now what do I do?? The player been reformated but can't get XP windows to see the device, All the MP4 Player is showing on the screen is usb disk.

Can anyone help me or is the player useless now.

Got the firmware installed on my player but went I boot it up show software loading but stop at 3/4 of the way and just stay that way. What I'm I doing wrong or dose it take long time for the software to load up. Any help would be nice I did not back up the fireware went I redid the player. Dose anyone have the fireware that came with the anyka clip mp4 player.

Also went I got the usb to work it show only two removed disk I put the fireware in the first one. Not such if I did it right.

connect the pc found new hardware USB DEVICE but no any driver compatible i click don't saerch i will choose the driver make manual driver Adfo Apdate.inf but not compatible

i m very much impressed by the information regarding chinese ipod u2 model i think many of you understand the technology of these models very fast and this is gr8.i think u can also help any one of u who is having chinese anyka chip ipod u2 whose image is given on the first page black one having 2.4'' tft with sd/radio/2 mp camera.i just do every thing in same manner as indicated trying two firmware which is given by lontu and sableroku both guyz r great,but all i get after doing all steps is software loading which load to 3/4th and then stops. i think i didnt enter the bios because i didnt know how to enter it but i followed all the other steps.i press menu and attach data cable and quickly press play button and every thing goes well i succeded in formating but after copying files of firmware (akres &magic) i got software loading and after 3/4 th loading it stops plz anyone help me because i bougth this ipod on 3rd december and on the next day its software gets corrupt making me sad for whole day and i think its a very bad deal as, i m from india my shopkeeper told me that there is no gurantee for these ipod made in china. plz help me how to enter bios and why software loading stops after 3/4th loading thanx in advance

I have followed the procedures in this thread, but when I restart the player, it only loads the software 3/4 ways, then it freezes and has to be reset. I have tried MP5 and firmware_anyka with the same results.

The only step I was unsure of is after I safely remove the USB hardware via Windows, my player says "Software Loading". I cannot restart the player without resetting it. Or, I can restart it if I unplug the USB cord, then I have to press the power button 3-4 times for it to start up. Should I be restarting it before unplugging it/disconnecting it from USB? Or what? Thanks for any help!

i re-formated my player and it shows usb disk and computer detects "ANYKA USB NAND OPN ZONE USB", THEN I COPY THE FIRMWARE GIVEN BY U (MOHYOM) TO 16 MB AND RESTARTED MY PLAYER BUT IT LOAD UP TO 3/4TH PART AND THEN GOT HANGED THERE. I COPY AKRES.BIN , MAGIC.BIN IN THE REMOVABLE DISK OF 16 MB. ONE TING I M NOT SURE IS THAT THE FILES U HAVE GIVEN ARE BIN FILES AND I DONT KNOW HOW TO OPEN THEM BUT I COPY THEM IN 16 MB DISK. AKRES.BIN AND MAGIC .BIN ARE LOCKED FILES I THINK U CAN UNDERSTAND BUT I COPIED THEM WITHOUT OPENING THEM , NOW HOW THE PLAYER IS ABLE TO LOAD THEM IF THE FILES ARE LOCKED .PLZ TELL ME HOW TO OPEN .BIN FILES AND IS IT NECESSARY TO OPEN THEM OR THAT IS NOT A PROBLEM.IF WE HAVE TO OPEN THESE FILES THEN COPY THEM TO DISK THEN PLZ TELL ME HOW TO OPEN THESE FILES AND WHAT SOFTWARE I REQUIRE TO OPEN THESE FILES.

I M VERY DEPRESSED BCAUSE I WANNA FIX THIS PROBLEM AND ANYONE HELPING ME ......... WOULD FULLFILL MY JOB

You do not need to open the files. These files are for the operating system on the MP4 player and although you cannot undestand them, your player will. Just do as you already have, load them onto the 16mb portion of your player. If you are lucky, it will work. I have a similar player and after trying 6 different sets of firmware files, the player will still not work. Green light comes on when switched on and goes off when any key is pressed. Can still get to format and usb disk screens and load firmware, but no firmware works so far. Hope you have more luck than me.

The only problem I´m having is that I can´t play the music files when I am in the Explorer, I have to go to the music list search for the specific song there and play it.
Is that the only way to play the songs? I get bored looking for the songs in the list and they aren´t even in order!!! :(

I've exactly that MP4 Player from the 1st post and I've followed all the steps that sableroku described. The problem is that my WindowsXP does NOT recognize the USB device and now I'm stuck at that "usb disk" screen!!! I've already done the procedure available at DEAD PLAYER RECOVERY GUIDE but WindowsXP keep saying that the AdufUpdate.inf does not contain the information needed to my device. I don't know what to do in order to get the Player to work! I've tried to insert a paper clip at the reset button but nothing happens!!! How do I quit that "usb disk" screen? Now, everytime I plug the USB cable I get that Press Menu key to format screen... how do I avoid that? How can I get XP to recognize the USB disk?
Well, I hope someone can help me here...

I brought my player back from the dead 3/4 load problem!!
 

I had the same problem after updating.. Loads to 3/4 and then NOTHING!

I did this:

Hold the menu button down, and then press reset while holding it. Then plug in USB and proceed with the rest of the instructions. Worked for Me!!
