I have deleted the firmware and now the player is dead ... after trying different firmwares i dont know what to do. do anyone have the same player who could upload the files from his player for meee ?????

hi everybody i really need your help with my anyka player! when i connect it to the computer, it says "The device has malfunctioned and cannot be recognized", but from the player i can look inside my memory and play whatever i want. What should I do? i don't want to format it, cos I discovered it also deletes the firmware so if the pc doesn't recognize it, it's bricked! :(

i encountered with the new kind of ANYKA chip.It is AK3631 and it is bigger then the regular anyka chip.It is also used in different players like IPOD CLONE and the regular MP4 too.I want to know what can be the key combination for this chip to make the mp4 in BIOS mode.
If any body know this and tell me i will be very thankfull.

now, and ı can see menu. but when ı want to mp3 or movie,setting ect. i see just blue screen

i was instaled your firmware and i do copy paste to mp4 player but doesnt work.

Haha, sorry, i forgot to mention it. I tried every Anyka firmware on the site. Only one (not even for the right player, the ipod version) had the camera functioning. Thanks for the reply! I dont know if this will help, but this player is from chinavasion

It does only play music from "Music" button and not from Folders - which sucks! I cannot play normal folders with mp3s that I put on it - any idea how to solve?

I recently bought this anyka player. I tried putting nes games into it but it doesn't work and there isn't a game folder in my mp4 player. But I think somehow it should play because the cd that came with my mp4 player has like a bunch of nes games in it. Can anyone tell me how to add firmware to mp4 player? I tried using like mp3 upgrade tool but it doesn't detect it. Any help would be really nice. Thanks.

My brother has the MP4 player that is first shown in this thread. The Ipod looking one.

I tried this, and many other firmware, but none of them work right. I do have a working firmware, but I just can't get one that well play NES games. Is there any way to enable it in other firmwares? If I go in explorer, it shows an NES icon, but clicking just shows info.

If that is not possible, does anybody know where I can get some anyka chip games at? I have the folder, but no games.

Detected it as M3CHIP, installed drivers, used burn tool (anyka tool 2.0.7a) to upload firmware and player went into black screen forever. After several errors trying to use the tool again, managed to make it work with anyka tool 2.1.1D, change firmware again, nothing happends.
I enter the recovery mode by presing the small reset button (player off...) and inseting USB cable; I don't get any "blue screen BIOS mode", dunno if I should... I also dont have new drives, so cannot "see" the playeron my computer. Anyka tool is the only one that detects the player and is able to do something, no other tool worked so far.

Please, tell me what to do/method to use

How to extract the firmware (Windows), #### I can not guarantee that the firmware can not be erased because the buttons are not clearly identified ####:

Before starting backup all files that are recorded on the player. :confused:The buttons are not clearly identified:confused:, :(you may lose your player like me.:(

1. Disconect your player from USB, if conected;
2. Turn it off;
3. Press the camera button and hold;
4. Press the on/off button and release both buttons;
After that the player will show this message: "insert usb line to use usbdisk"
5. Please, read all lines below, to prevent from erasing your firmware;
6. Connect to the computer;
After that the player will show this message:
NOW BIOS VERSION: k... MSLC_VO.3.9
Press Ok key to format
Press other key to not format
7. DON'T touch the on/off button (I did this and lost the firmware) ;
8. Press and hold the camera button;
After that the player will show this message: usb disk
9. Configure the USB disks (Windows), will appear three discs, the first and second have the firmware;
10. Copy all the files in separate folders for each disk.

These files are the firmware. If you can extract the firmware could you send me? :D

well, after 3h doing "google research" and reading this forum, specially this post, I've got an idea of what to do, the only problem is that my MP5 hast an AK3631lq4402 chip from ANYKA, this one is mentioned here, but no one has uploaded a FIRMWARE for this chip..
any way i've managed to get one or two out there, the only thing is that i can't get to the bios mode, not even manage to see any drives in "My PC"

that is likely the same I have (mine is 4GB) AK3631 based. You extract the firmware by holding down the "+" key as you plug in the USB cable. You should get two filesystem, one contains the firmware the other a "SYSTEM" folder that it uses to keep track of things.

Mine is 3.0.4.0 - apparently there is a 3.0.4.1 version out there too.
