Default Memory info.

Well I had just got a 4GB chi-pod. I checked the chip and it is a 4GB chip.
Anyways I had about 200 songs on it and it showed 20% of the memory used. I accidentally unplugged it from my computer before ejecting it. I lost all my music, but the memory still showed 20% full. Is it possible to get it back to the 1% it showed when I first got it and start over?? Thanx in advance.

Try formatting it. That should clear the memory out to get back all your free space.

-ORGNL- , do format your player first before using it again, your memory chip might be corrupted, which very likely would end up corrupting your firmware and brick your player.

It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.
