Re: Help on a 8 GB mp3 (fw 9.0.50)

hi,

the mp3 was not hacked as it had the whole 4GB flash memory...
the only problem seems to be that the player does not switch on????

im thinkin of doing the recovery guide tho im worried they mite not accept the player back as i have to ship it all the way back to HK... n hopefully they'll give me a return as the ebayer is located in HK even tho it stated the item was in LONDON,UK!!!!! Cant i get some sort of compensation from this false information?

UPDATE----------------------------

hi heres an update....

the player does not boot up but wen i plug it in the USB port the pc detects the usb and asks for driver?

ne ideas how i can get it to detect the player?

the firmware i downgraded to was.....9.0.43

whilst installin this theme... myPOD - downloads section

do i need the drivers for firmware 9.0.43?

aznkix , what OS are you currently using? You'll only need to install drivers for Win98.

aznkix , if MP3 Utilities Upgrade Tool detects your player, then you'll just need to try all the v9.xx firmwares for your screen size here http://www.mympxplayer.org/actions-9...ware-dc37.html

If not, then you'll need to perform the Dead Player Recovery guide.
