B3nNa,

If you looked through the firmware modding section you would understand why. Simply though, s1fwx cannot fully extract firmware version 9.0.50.

The chipset that runs this version is different to earlier versions and contains areas that can't be 'read' by the program. The result is an incomplete file that cannot be read by s1res.

Note that you should not attempt to 'downgrade' your firmware as it would definitely 'brick' or disable your player making it useless.
It's best to leave your player the way it is until some bright spark comes up with a way to fully extract 9.0.50.

thanks...

i have two questions...

if i want to change theme i have to wait a newer version of modding softwares?

how about memory hacking?

i know that many of 8GB mp4 are fakes...but when i try to format my mp4 with mp3 player disk manager it says that the device isn't supported...how can i verify if the mamory was hacked by the seller?

Yes, in order to mod your player you actually have 2 choices.

1. Wait until the modding software is available
or
2. See if you can obtain the EXACT firmware from the players manufacturer (that can be rather difficult)

To find out the true memory of your player (8GB is most likely hacked) try this program > http://www.mympxplayer.org/memory-de...101-df560.html

You input the numbers from your memory chip, but you have to open your player. you could try formatting your player with this tool > http://www.mympxplayer.org/hp-format-tool-df466.html

thanasisgr , the v9.0.50 firmware cannot be extracted at the moment. The dump file extracted by B3nNa is incomplete and would not be of any use to recover players.

It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.

T39 doesn''t sound as good as my T29

is your player lie this one from Uxcell

Uxcell viola mp4

if so they have a firmware for download here

viola firmware download

i put NO guarantee on this working but if you have no other choice it my be your best bet

and in future don't upgrade, its more hassle than its worth, especially if this is your one and only player - feel free to experiment but eventually you may kill it for good

first point is your player a hacked memory player, if so then you need to be in touch with paypal to get your money back - i had hacked player and was successful in getting refund, and also got to keep the player
if you do this you can get your cash back and go to uxcell and get the same player with a guarantee of no hacked memory.

i doubt the seller will exchange, as they will know that you have tried to update the firmware due to the white screen
