My Dad bought fakes - Sugestions on use??
 

My Dad.
the Ebay tycooon hes tryign to be groan Bought 10 Ipod nano's 8gb
I thought fine as he assured me hed checked they were real before paying.
Its only now like a month later I have been asked to have a good look at them. they are very very very bad fakes.
the ipod - fake bad branding but packaing looks legit....
the Size - 8gb Fake its 128mb ive tripple checked that by takign one apart and confirming the serial on the memory chip

So what would everyone recomend I do with 10 MP3/mp4 players that have less memory than my Mobile phone!

As a matter of interest, who did he buy them off? What you could do is reformat them to their true capacity and flog them on Ebay, but make sure you emphasise that they are the new memory size is genuine. Dont mention that they were fakes.
OOPs I have just noticed that they are only 128mb, might make a good window display, sorry :(

Yeah tell me about it have no clue who the seller is ill try and find out and post it here!

When did your father buy these fake Ipods? if it is less than 90 days he may be able to claim that the items are not as discribed.

But first he should contact the seller, about your findings, and see if the seller is prepared to do anything about it,, ie replacements or refunds.

If that avenue fails then he could also put in a claim via Pay Pal, if paid by Pay Pal

Please give us the listing numbers or Mp3 player type and the name of the seller and how much your father paid for each, or did he get a better price as he purchased 10 ?

Hope you can find the seller and post it here as a BAD SELLER. Hopefully it will warn others before they make the same mistake.
