Default ghost files

Hey you guys whenever i put a file on my mp3 player there is always a ghost file, but i know i don't have the memory hack because i know it is a one gig player. I have tried formatting it and it didn't help. Even if I delete the ghost files from the folder, i still can't access the folder from the menu. To fix this every time i have to move the files to another folder and delete the original. Is there any way for me to not have to do this? please help!

marion8r , if you had formatted using MP3 Utilities Disk Tools and still experiencing the problems, i'll suggest that you try a scandisk on your player. There might be some bad sectors on your memory chip.

Why are clones called MP4 Players, when they don`t play .MP4 at all?
It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.

Can you send us a screenshot of the 'ghost file'? I would be interested in seeing what that looks like.

Does this happen to ALL your files that you copy onto the player?
