no fw's work!!!!! my chipset is samsung 684 k9k8g08uoa pcb0
my mainboard is srx-a7 v0.2 dated2006-07-22

i've tried almost everything at the 3.5.37

can i use any alternatives?

brief description of my mp4 is

ipod *i wish*(its a look alike with squared edges)
and it even has ipod written at front and the bitten apple thingy

rizakuerzine , i'll suggest you try the v3.5.35 firmwares as well. If you had tried all of them and still none works, then there is nothing much you can do about it. As usually new players are now of the v9.0.xx series firmwares.
