None of them. Quicktime (H.264) requires more processing power than the 30-year-old technology processors in these MP4 players can manage.

Conversion can easily be done to AMV on the computer, so the point is moot.

There are some MP4 which support it.
My question was a bit tricky as I get curious on the chipset that brings this support.

How true! As a Mac user I was extra careful to see what exactly the player needed as I can't create an AMV file. I saw tons and tons of players listed like that. "Video supported: .avi, .mov. .rm, .whateveryouwant. As long as it's converted to AMV using our supplied software prior to loading!"

While not as evil as the memory hack/mislead scam, it's still slimy.

Well.. as far as I know is the format used in anime movies that was adapted for use in the early s1mp3 firmware.
I've seen the term Action Motion Video only in this forum, together with SMV Sigmatel Motion Video.
Anyway I don't have any interest in start a discussion about this topic... if you said that is Action Motion Video... then it is so.

It's not me who says so, but Wikipedia. AMVs as in "Anime Music Videos" can be encoded in any format the DVD rippers desire, it refers to a certain style of anime movies not the format it is encoded in.

Search for Action Movie Videos and tell me what you find

Not much related to MPx players really, but still, why do we really care? As the AMV format is called "advance media video" by the programs that come with Actions chipset players. :P

And as for the original question, I think I found the only player that will support Quick Time files directly ;-)
