sonic storge not reconizing my HD1

Hi everyone I''m having a hard time transfering my songs to my HD1.

Im using sonic stage 4.3. Basically when I select transfer to ATRAC device it gives me the message:

"the connection between the device and the computer is unstable. Disconnect and reconnect them"

Then it tells me if that doesnt work go to controls and delete all tracks. Well it didnt work, and i deleted all tracks, however after it does that it gives me an error saying "could not delete all tracks"

I tried reformatting via the walkman, and initializing it...nothing still same connection error. I have tried several USB ports...nothing. I even formatted via windows...nothing. Its just not recognizing it. Windows is recognizing it, just not Sonic Stage.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
