Lattesurf your're right, I've asked them support and they answered to make some tests (the same you suggested). Their last answer is that 17mb is very strange as a problem and that I have to send them an hardcopy of the windows properties. I did it yesterday now I'm waiting for the next steps, do you have any suggestion about "how" ask them to replace the player ?
One more question is about the other problem that I've had with the other player. When I touch the earphone jack the player resets to the last normal closing. What I mean is that if I've played 10 songs after the last startup the reset take me to the first of this songs. I suppose that there must be an electric contact do you have any suggest about it ?

brignuca , there used to be a uxcell staff member in this forum a couple of months ago, but he is no longer active. So the best alternative is to wait for uxcell to instruct you on the return procedure.

Regarding the earphone jack problem, it is likely that static have caused the player to "restart". Not literally restarting the whole player, but restart to the first song.

Does it happen everytime you touch it?
What happens if you touch it and it restarts, then you touch it again? Does it restart the 2nd time?

Is not only a return to the first song from the last "regular" shutdown, the player go back to the state it has when it was swithced on last time. This means that if I've closed the previous time with the radio on and than I've swutched to the mp3 player, when the problem occurs the player go beck (switch off and switch on) to the radio.
The player doesn't switch off every time, if I'm a very carefule the problem doesn't occurs. Not everytime the, To explain if I have the player in my pocket and I don't pay attention on "how" I pick it up from the pocket, the problem occurs. Otherwise if I pay attention and I don't touch the earphone connector it goes on playing
And to answer to your last question it restart if I touch it at the end of prevoious restart, it doens't restart again if I touch it while it's in rstrarting phase.

brignuca , the problem very likely would be due to static in this case. What i can suggest is to further insulate your player. There is a guide on S1mp3 here http://www.s1mp3.org/en/docs_advance...e.php#reestart
