ipod nano clone not being recognized...

Just bought an ipod nano clone (FT-261h i think) and it works fine, all the apps run on it, but it is not being recognised by any computer. The usb cable is ok and when I plug it in to the system it goes to a connect screen and charges the battery but the comp doesnt even know its there. What should i do? Please help?

Ensure you are use USB 2.0 compatible cable. Lacking in, please set transfer speed in BIOS to USB 1.1.

I am using a USB 2.0 cable and I have the appropriate drivers (running win xp) but still nothing.
