nem15 , does it happen constantly with the earphone for all files?

It seems to be some hardware related issues.

It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.

nem15 , it is likely a hardware problem as the speaker is able play them properly but not the earphones. Probably some components in the earphone circuit is damaged.

Besides, trying to fix by flashing another firmware would likely kill your player. i'll suggest you contact the seller, and probably get an exchange.
