s1fwx doesn't recognise my Rockchip MP4 player
 

when i want to extract firmware from my mp4, with s1fwx software

with windows xp ,my mp4 is not reconized, the message is

device not foud

can someone help me

s1fwx doesn't work with Rockchip players, only ACTIONS chipset players (ones that play .AMV video files). Also, it doesn't work with all firmware versions of ACTIONS players either at the moment.

There are no known tools for extracting Rockchip firmware at this time. When (if?) one becomes available, it will be a very popular discussion point on this Forum!
There are however a number of Firmwares available for Rockchip players, but unless you are keen on experimentation at the risk of destroying your player, it's really not worth trying them - at least until Rockchip firmware extraction tools become available. Too many people have tried and failed!!
