gabb9 , install MP3 Utilities, there are many versions you can use available in the downloads section.

Once installed, does the MP3 Utilities Upgrade Tool recognise your player?

gabb9 , what you'll need to do next is to try all the v9.xx firmwares here http://www.mympxplayer.org/actions-9...ware-dc37.html

As there is no way to tell which firmware would work for your player, you'll need to try all those for your screen size until you get 1 working.

However, this process could also brick your player in the process due to incompatible firmware, and cause the Upgrade Tool not to detect your player. In this case, you'll need to perform the Dead Player Recovery guide to get your player detected again.

gabb9 , the problem lies with that the current firmware extraction tool S1fwx only supports upto v9.0.43 firmware. So other users with working v9.0.48 or v9.0.50 which might be compatible for your player, but are unable to dump their firmware to upload to the forum.

If you had tried all the firmwares in the download link above and none work, i'll suggest that you contact your seller for an exchange as it should be still under warranty.

gabb9 , the last alternative i can think of is this website here http://download.impn.net/soft_list/mp3_mp4_firmware/
It seems that they have a list of firmwares, but i'm not sure if the files can be downloaded. Do note that the site is in Chinese, and you might have a problem navigating around.

If it is not under warranty, and you have tried all the v9.xx firmwares and none work, there is pretty much nothing you can do now.
