'error(41' watch error
 

I have a vpr 4g 1.5" fm mp3/mtv watch. Everything was working fine and then all of the sudden whenever I try and play any mp3s I get 'error(41' a few seconds after I start it and the song stops playing. Any ideas? I got it at surprisinggift.com

Have you tried formatting your player? Try that and see if that helps. Have a look at this article here: How To: Removing Memory Hack.

Also try following this article here: How to: Perform a scan disk and repair bad sectors.

There might be a corruption in the memory somewhere and usually a format and/or scandisk does the trick. Let us know how that goes.

I checked for errors like ya said and it scanned and did it's thing. Then it still wouldn't play mp3s. So then I formatted it and it still wouldn't play mp3s. Then I added a whole different set of mp3s after that and it still wouldn't play them.

Hey I was sent the updated vpr_firmware by George from surprisinggift.com. I had to change my email to actually get a response but I uploaded it onto my watch with some real easy instructions and it works great now!

I have an ELLA mp4 watch (see sig for pic)
and i have the same error 41! i used a prog called factory4 to do a firmware thing to it but every 3 hours or so it comes up again and i have to do the factory4 thing again!
