In the manual (poor designed and incomplete) it tells that you can upgrade the firmware, and it will come with more features like play games of SNES (super nintendo) , i think that this mp4 player uses an AKYKA chip, but in the webpage doen´t have downloads, only pdf manuals. Do you know where can i find an updated firmware for this player, or some tricks? for example, i wanna power off the screen when i use the audio player, and when i wanna charge it, the screen is always power on =( thank you for your help.

Desperado , i have the exact same player as you, though the processor might be different. Mine is using a Sunplus chipset, which at the moment is not upgradeable (not recommended anyway). It plays .NES roms, but not SNES roms.

Firmware updates are never recommended, only do it if you are recovering a dead player or willing to risk bricking it (which is about a 99% chance).
