help, cant connect to USB
 

okay guys, I've got a new mp4 player, its not a nano clone, its exclusive from a brazillian brand
I think its got a sigmatel chip.. Ive read it somewhere
anyway.. whenever I connect it to my pc through USB it says its not recognizable.

Ive got another mp3 player, it works perfectly with both the new and the old cables, on my pc, so its not the cable.

already tried every 6 usb ports on my pc, both on the back and on the front, so its not the usb port.

when I tried it in another pc, it works just fine, so its not the mp4.

it only refuses to work on my own pc

Ive got an XP SP2, and I already tried to update every damn USB driver I've seen around
even though, I'm still thinking its a driver problem or something..
help! :cry:

I've tried uninstalling all my usb drivers, installing again and sometimes it even crashed my pc!
AND I CANT GET IT TO WORK!

I spent all my damn money, hard earned with my band!

please, someone! :(

clow , it looks to be a computer issue in this case. i can't really think of anymore solutions as you have already tried what i would suggest to you.
