10 second stop of audio track

Hi did all and showed 0% used memory. Loaded 1 audio and 1 music file both of them play for only 10 seconds and then stop. If I fast forward it just goes to end of track or book Need another of your solutions please. Stefan

stefan121 , when in the music menu, press Menu and select Repeat Mode. In there, select Normal or Random rather than Intro. Likely the setting has been selected to be Intro, which plays only the first 10 seconds and skips to the next track.

I thought this was going into your format section. So to clarify the fist comment refers to my having formatted player. I have an additional problem which is that the player shows as a drive until I start to use it and then it disapears from ' My Computer ' Thanks again it's a great site and I have reccomended it to my local college for their computer students. Thanks again Stefan

stefan121 , what you are experiencing is perfectly normal.

When you connect your player via USB, the player's removable drive would appear.
The moment you click on Menu to start the player, it is normal for the player to disconnect from the computer, so the drive disappears from your computer.
But if you press and hold the Play button to turn the player off, it would again connect back to the computer.

So basically, you can't operate the player and have the connectivity with the computer present at the same time. It is only one at a time.
