Retaining audio place
 

I am listening to an audio book that is 8 hours long and on 50% of the time on trying to continue I find that I am back at 00 and have to fast forwards to get back to where I was. Fast forwarding is OK but it takes quite a while and I suppose is a drain on the battery so that when I get back to my place in the book, assuming that I remember the place at which I stopped, the battery might be flat and I need to charge it and then fast forwards again.Thanks for listening. This is not a function supported by all players... However, try it on yours... Instead of turning off in the main button, hold play and leave it in stand-by mode... Then hold play again to turn it on and see if it's in the same position... if not then your player doesn't support that function...

Thanks for the reply, unfortunately I didn't explain all because my main problem is not stopping and restart its that if I do something else on the player I often lose the audio place and it zeros. Perhaps there's a setting that I have not used which will make the audio stop point more stable. Thanks Stefan

Unless it's one of them REALLY expensive Meizu or new-gen Rockchips wich have special functions for that (trough menu items), then no... There is no tweak you can do to your player to make it do that... Sorry I can't help you... :(
