My storage capacity reduced after formating

I formatted the device because i was getting a "format error" when attempting to play my video & audio files, and now my 2GB is reduced to 100MB.

My Mp4/MP3 player Firmware version:

LG MP3 Player
k918vok1
cm60022
2007/July/20
Act_v9.0.50

Can sombody help me???

Good place to start is : http://www.mympxplayer.org/hacked-4-...yer-vt839.html

Sounds like you have a hacked player. :(

Hi there ;
me too I have the same problem. I bought mine from E-Bay Mp3 player with 8Gb;when I tried to add some files the computer asked for a complete formatting.When I clicked on Properties I saw 0Gb and instead of Fat32 it was RAW. I formatted it then I found only 970Mb!!!!!!

thankful if someone could help me to get my 7Gb back

shef , there isin't a 8GB chip installed in your player in the first place. i'll do suggest that you perform a proper format using MP3 Utilities Disk Tools, guide is here http://www.mympxplayer.org/how-to-re...ck-vt2400.html

If after the format, you still end up with 1GB, then likely your player only had a 1GB chip hacked to show 8GB instead. You can't recover the lost 7GB, because it does not exist at all.
