Default problems with light on lcd screen

hello everybody. i have a small issue with my mp4 player. i don't know it's firmware but it's an "Eurosound" italian player, model ES-970, 2gb, 2.4" with FM radio and 2 mp digital camera. it looks a little like an ipod (i've attached a image of it). my problem is when watching movies or clips that have dark scenes, or people with black clothes in them sometimes, or some videos that are encoded with 16:9 aspect ratio and have two black bars on the top and on the bottom, i can't watch them properly, it's like the contrast is messed up and i have to turn it sideways and look at the image from a very tight angle.
the picture when looking at it normally, perpendiculary, appears like i'm looking at a LCD from the wrong angle. i managed to decrease the contrast to 0, and light up the screen a bit, but still the problem is not 100% solved and now the screen glows too much, above that consuming a lot of battery very fast. please somebody help me if you can

raducucosmin , you might want to try pre-processing your videos before converting them to your player's format. You can use VirtualDub to do so, guide here http://www.mympxplayer.org/using-vir...ons-vt805.html

It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.

raducucosmin , what i'm trying to say is to pre-process using VirtualDub to increase the contrast/brightness. Not convert to .avi before converting to your player's format.

i got that. you mean i need to use some filters to increase/decrease brightness or contrast before uploading the files on my player. i will try that. it shouldn't the be too hard to convert them to my player's format which is also avi like i said
