Default basic function of player

can anyone help me with my new mp3/mp4 player? its a generic version of the apple ipod and the manuel doesnt help. i am new to this product was able to figure out of how get music to my player. but the figuring out stops there. MAUNUEL SAYS THERE R 7 COLORS FOR THE BACKLIGHT BUT DOESNT SAY A WORD HOW TO CHANGE THEM? ALSO HAVENT BEEN ABLE TO ORGANIZE ANY MUSIC N2 FOLDERS? IS THERE A WAY TO SET THE PLAYER TO PLAY AT RANDOM FOR ALL THE SONGS ON PLAYER RATHER THAN PLAYING AT RANDOM FOR THE CURRENT CD U R LISTENING 2? i have a ton of questions and am at the top of the frustration chart with this player...can somebody help me so that i may enjoy my new purchase?

loveswhitetigers17 , a picture of your player would be good. Is your player an Ipod Nano Clone? Or is it a usb thumbdrive style? The Nano clone does not have 7 colours for the backlight, it only exists for the thumbdrive styled player.

Random playback is only limited to within a folder itself, you can't random playback across a few folders.

Why are clones called MP4 Players, when they don`t play .MP4 at all?
It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.
