left button works same as right button
 
hi there, I want to tell my problem. I hope to get help from you.

i`ve brought player, then i`ve received it i tried it on. and what ? "<<" button works same as ">>" button.... so i can`t to reduce sound, lcd brighness and other options ......

tell me what to do now.. maybe firmware upgrading will help ?
my player is 1.8 digital MP4 player, like newest ipod nano (it`s clone)

Welcome to the site.

Have you done anything to your player such as update it with another firmware etc before this problem started happening? Or did it happen from the first day you got it?

If it's the first day you got it, then I would think that's a problem with the connections on the board. Sounds like a manufacturing fault than anything else. I haven't heard of and setting, or configuration that changes the function of the << button that's for sure.

Can you get it replaced under warranty?

yes, it`s happened the first day i`ve received it :|
i don`t think that there is warranty coz i brought it from ebay(item sent from hong kong) + now i see, that icebear2008 seller is not longer registred :/

i think it would be great just reduce lcd brithness, coz now view is not good with max brithness :|
and again one question, how to make backup ?

hoooray ! i`ve found the solution. just formated player from fat32 system to fat :) no everthink is okey 8)
